2012 Studio Tours

Artist studio tours present a unique way of seeing art and meeting the artists who create it.  These free self-guided driving tours feature a diverse selection of fine art and crafts by artists in Mountain View, Mena, and Arkadelphia.  Visit the artists' private working studios and see where the art is created while you travel the scenic highways and byways of Arkansas.
This collaborative studio tour project is funded by the Arkansas Arts Council.   

We welcome a new studio tour in the Mountain Home area. The Art Odyssey, which takes place in May, offers an opportunity to visit the studios and view the work of  artists living and working in the Mountain Home, AR area, including Baxter and Marion Counties. Artists include painters, sculptors, beaders, photographers, fiber artists, potters, basket artists, mosaic artists, and mixed media artists.  Detailed information about The Art Odyssey artists and directions to their studios can found online at http://gogomountainhome.com/category/arts/.  This Juried Art Event is sponsored by the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce, the Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County, and The Baxter Bulletin.  There is no charge for the tour and no tickets are required. 

 Library hours are Mon., Wed., Thurs., and Fri. 10:00am – 6:30pm, Tuesday 10:00am – 8:00pm, Sat. 10:00am – 5:00pm and Sun. 1:00pm – 5:00pm
